Who can apply for Patron House Foundation scholarships?
Students who meet the eligibility criteria listed for each scholarship, are enrolled in an accredited
college, university, or trade program, and come from households with annual income below $50,000
USD.
Do I need to demonstrate financial hardship?
Yes. Our scholarships are designed to support students from underserved and under-resourced
households. Income verification may be requested.
How are recipients selected?
All complete and eligible applications are entered into a lottery-based selection process to ensure
fairness and equal opportunity. Academic achievement, service, and leadership requirements must be
met prior to entry.
How are funds distributed?
Scholarship funds are paid directly to the student’s school or training institution and may be applied
toward tuition, fees, or eligible educational expenses.
Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
Applicants may apply for all scholarships for which they meet the eligibility criteria; however, only one
award may be granted per application cycle.
Will I be notified if I am not selected?
Yes. All applicants will receive notification regarding the status of their application.
Are scholarships renewable?
At this time, scholarships are awarded as one-time grants. Future renewal opportunities may be
announced.
Is volunteering required?
Yes. Community service is a core value of Patron House Foundation. Volunteer hours must be completed
with a registered nonprofit organization.
